This was the event, which all Stamp ravers had been looking
forward to since April 3rd when we were treated to Stamp Pt
10. This was the night of Stamp part 11 and this was also the
special birthday celebration for the Millennium Boyz AKA WJ
Good Groove and J2 from the North East London’s big bad urban
machine ‘Special Touch’.
Original Stamp ravers know what to expect from Stamp. If you
are reading this and have never been to a Stamp event before
or maybe just didn’t attend this event then continue to get an
insight into what you missed!
There are things that are always associated with Stamp as a
matter of standard – These include quality music, lots of
hype, excitement and lots and lots of people. This event was
held at the The Players Club which is situated in East Ham,
East London. The venue has a lot of great things going for it
but one major fall back that continues to hinders big events
held there is the lack of air condition. This had an adverse
effect on the atmosphere of events being held there.
In this case the heat again played a significant role on a big
night causing hundreds of ravers to seem slightly more
fatigued than usual. Nevertheless when you get Special Touch,
PC Mistri, Studio Express, Latest Edition, 5th Avenue and then
you throw in Cash Money and G-Ents all under one roof to
celebrate two of the industries most respected DJ’s/Promoters,
you are guaranteed a great night out.
The night started slowly as Cash Money and G-Ents warmed up
the crowd whilst the venue seemed to fill up at an exceptional
rate. We then had Dodd and DJ Ali AKA Studio Express 625 next
up on the ones and two’s who notched up the tempo throwing
down some Ol’ skool bashment classics. Next up was 5th Avenue
who really got things going with Sweet Vibes and Hollywood
turning up the temperature bringing the tunes back ‘up to the
time’. It was now 3.30am and it was now also time for Special
Touch (inclusive of the Birthdays boys) to step up to the
decks! The night was now in full throttle and continued at
this pace with PC Mistri, Latest Edition and all the sounds
combining on rotation to entertain and hype the ravers up all
throughout the rest of the night….
DVD’s of this night will be available soon via info@promotioncity.co.uk.

The DVD will also have coverage of the PA performed on the
night by Nathan singing ‘come into my room’.
