Well they did it again - as expected the venue, the crowd, the music was second to none. All the regulars’ expectations were met and all new comers did not go home disappointed.
The DJs laid down all the latest tracks and made a stop off down memory lane for those most appreciated old school classics. Ravers were musically entertained by DJs such as Lloyd Life, G-Ents, Smooth Connection, Elliot Ness & Daze, Natty & Scotty B, Godfather, Fabulous Vibez, Cover Up, L.A Nites, Boogie Boy, Dj Daz. Mc`s Cool J & Joe Blimey with R&B bashment reggae soul and soca.
The well groomed crowd all seem to have an enjoyable night, although some were complaining about the capacity. Could it be that Soul Deep is out growing its landmark?
The clientele was of a mixed age group - it seems as though word of mouth is now spreading between all age groups and resulting with everyone wanting a slice of the Soul Deep fever. All roads lead to Silks and Spice. This night introduced people coming from all sides of London to check out the hype.
I spoke to two ladies in the toilet about their evening. They said they were enjoying themselves in true Soul deep style and they were regular attendees. They said they know when they come to Soul Deep they are guaranteed a good night out with quality music and decent eye candy! So for those of you who haven’t tried it, what you waiting for? If you have not been before, you will definitely have a friend who has, so don’t just take my word for it.
This is definitely the place to be, but I do warn you - GET DOWN THERE EARLY – take my advice, ticket or no ticket the crowd outside from 12.00 onwards is usually a big one. While you’re teased by the b-line of tunes coming from inside where it’s all happening -you’ve been warned. Enjoy!!
