The Kanye West Official After party was held at the classy, sophisticated and refined venue known as Club Rouge. If you have previously been graced with the pleasure of experiencing this classy, sophisticated and refined venue, then you will be able to relate when one describes the elegant surroundings of rouge, that includes 3 floors and five different rooms. These all included small sublime touches such as projected images onto large walls and superb bar facilities. Rouge is well known for its regular ‘A-Listers’ who attend on a regular basis, its interior design and captivating rich red theme setting kept the prestige venue alive and looking as plush as ever, while an estimated 1,500+ guests attended.  With lots of seating and bars throughout the club, not forgetting the exclusive VIP lounge on the 2nd floor, the venue was far from a straightforward ‘4-walls’ club. 

We all know that After Parties are usually about hype, a way for fans and ravers to mix it up with the stars after their performances. We also know that there are a lot of 'unofficial' after parties claiming to have 'this and that' star attend, but usually end up with no special appearances. What was different about this after party was that not only were we provided with a nice blend of RnB, Hip Hop and a splice of bashment but also an excellent turn out from fans and ravers. We were treated to some very good PA’s from up and coming UK stars as well as profoundly known 'superstars'.

This night saw some performances by up and coming UK talent but the one UK star whom Promotion City caught up with and whom performed an excellent set was Cassius Henry, who is set to finally get his recognition and 'blow up big time' in 2004 after his new team up with Roca-a-Fella records.

The night was hosted by the ever-consistent Mr. Play and featured some of London’s finest DJ’s including Lonyo who entertained and wowed the crowd accordingly. The real treat of the night though was a surprise performance by the man himself - Kanye ‘to tha’ West, who kindly decided he was going to roll up to the stage and treat us to a big performance. As Kanye and Dame Dash appeared kitted with their Roc-a-Fella bling alongside their entourage, the crowd simply went ballastic! Kanye did not fail to disappoint and performed the two hits ‘through the wire’ and ‘all falls down’ to the delight of the crowd!

This Official After Party attracted appearances from many celebrities from the world of music including Bushkin and Fonte from the Heartless Crew, Former contestants from Big Brother, Tim Westwood, and a few familiar faces of the football world from Arsenal, West Ham and Chelsea. After his performance Kanye took a well-deserved rest and chilled out in the VIP area and left the ravers to get on and enjoy the rest of this delightful night!
