This was the
return of ‘Irresistibly Different’, which was back for the 3rd
in the series since it launched. The first was big, the second
was even bigger but this was simply massive! On entrance to
the prestigious Market Bar venue you could not fail to see the
amount of people that were patiently and eagerly waiting to
get into The Market Bar to be part of this monthly affair.
There was an
incredible air of anticipation outside as rarely do you see so
many people outside this venue waiting to get in. The calibre
of clientele that Irresistibly Different had attracted out of
their houses was just simply ‘off the hook’ with pretty, sexy
ladies and toper -top, kitted out gents waiting patiently to
get in. Feedback from the last two events was very good and it
was clear to see to all that the ravers had come out in
anticipation of this being even better!
When we got in
the first thing we noticed was that the ladies were not only
looking sophisticated and sexy but had a large element of
glamour associated with them too! Ladies and Gents from North,
South, East and East London all represented magnificently
creating an ‘Irresistible’ blend. The gents had a big part to
play on this night, as they came well co-ordinated and put
together and even more importantly well behaved!
The music on
the night was ‘top notch’, with the very best in RnB, Soul
Classics, Old Skool Garage and a hint of Bashment We also had
a special appearance from the magnificent MC Lev. The DJ’s on
the night played excellent sets and gave us more evidence of
what the required standard is for the future Irresistibly
Different nights. Don’t forget on DJ’s on rotation are
Kingsley Confunktion, Phat Catz, DJ Supreme, G Ents, 4 Play
Ent, JR, Fruit Bunch, Elliot Ness and Match Stick.
As usual
Promotion City caught up with several ravers
whom shared how they thought the night had went:
Carlos from
North London stated that he simply could not believe how ‘jam’
it was, whilst Stacey from West London reiterated this by
stating – “The night was a roadblock…simple! It was off the
hook, my girls and I have come out for my birthday and we have
had a wicked time, you cannot ask for anymore really!” Joanne
from South London also came down to celebrate her birthday
with her girls and stated that she had a very enjoyable night
and was more than content that she had chosen this superb
night to celebrate on.
The general consensus of the night was simple –this night was
a big success! The next one is on Friday 5th June
2004 at Market Bar and promises to be EVEN bigger!
