This was the launch night of Internal Affairs and the ravers couldn’t seem to wait!  Held at the elegant and stylish Silk and Spice, this was clearly going to be a night to remember.  The crowd was hyped before even entering the venue; obviously word had spread around about thus stylish event.

The crowd were elite to say the least.  Ladies in dazzling and daring ensemble, and gents looking slick and suave to match.  Although the queue was jammed and the crowd was eager, they remained cool, calm and patient.  Everyone was confident it would be worth the wait.

When we entered the dance we were far from disappointed.  The atmosphere was electrifying.  It was clear we were not dealing with ordinary ravers, we were dealing with nightlife professionals.  Girls shaking their booty and guys breaking it off were the scene that greeted us.  People had travelled from both near and far to be a part of this prestigious event.  The clientele were a nice mix and blend, and the vibe was friendly and fun.

The music hit the spot with a banging blend of RnB, Old Skool Garage, Soul Classics and a good measure of bashment.  The DJ’s represented, showing us exactly why this event is so massive!  The calibre of musical talent was amazing and helped hype the crowd t their full potential.

Promotion City picked out a few ravers to give their views on this event and unsurprisingly, they were all positive comments.  Leon from East London said “The tunes are heavy, the girls are hot, what more can I say?”  Shantell from South London was equally impressed stating “This venue is very stylish and has attracted the right kind of crowd which makes a change – I’m feeling the beats too!”.  Katie from North West had come down to celebrate her friend’s birthday.  She told us it was the best night out she had had in ages, and well definitely be at the next.

So, another successful night for the Internal Affairs crew, the question is, can they do it again?  The simple answer is to come down Silks and Spice for the 2nd serving on Saturday June 12th 2004.

Keep yourself entertained; never be at a loose end again! Keep it PromotionCity.co.uk
