Installments was held at the lavish and
comfortable Market Bar in Crutched Friars. This was the launch
night for what is guaranteed to be one of ‘those’ raves which
you simply just cannot afford to miss! In this first
‘installment’ we were treated to some the launch of Sugar Kane
Records mix tape and some excellent music. The night was also
a birthday celebration for one of the quickest up and coming
stars in the promoting game ‘KiDD’. Playing the best in RnB,
Soul, Hip Hop and Club Classics.
On this night we had a combination of
nice vibes, a nice mix of people and nice music. DJ’s on the
night were Pure Vybes, Frisky DJ, Mr Play, DJ Pretty, Mr XL
and Lonyo.
Big up goes out to all those DJ’s
especially Mr XL who certainly sent the ladies going into a
wild frenzy on the dance floor when he went ‘ol skool’ on
them. With classics like Soul 4 Real’s ‘Candy Rain’, Cameo’s
‘Candy’ and his fabulous ol' skool slow down session. Got to
also send out maximum respect to Lonyo who got the crowd
‘wildin’ out also and rocked the place!!!
Comments on the night included Marsha
from Ladbroke Grove, West London, who was simply singing the
praises of the promoters. “Them lot smashed it! This was
different tings star! I’m lovin' it mate!” Keisha also from
West London stated “Boy, there were more than a few buff men
in here to choose from, which is all good truss me!, WHEN IS
THE NEXT ONE!”, KJ from South London stated that he was
overwhelmed by the amount of different faces he saw on this
night. “I get around to a few raves but I’m telling you
brother…the girl dem in here tonight are not your standard
face that you see in around raves. These gyally are different,
WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE?!!!”
The dress code was smart casual and there
were more than a few ladies who simply turned heads! The lady
in the yellow caused quite a few head turns, I might add, in
her very tight revealing dress!
To all
those who attended and have been emailing Promotion City
asking when the next one is, I have been informed by the
promoters that the second ‘Installment’ will be due very
shortly so in the interim get ready to pay up and enjoy!!!!
