City along with Longers from the G-Ents was exclusively invited
to London for an interview with one of Def Jam’s most
established artists. With aliases such as ‘Methical’, ‘Jonny
Blaze’, ‘Mza, Blazini’, ‘Iron Lung’, ‘Ticallion Stallion’ and
‘Hot Nickels’, it was unmistakably going to be a HOT connection
with the Method Man himself.
‘Meff’ was
here in the UK to promote his new album to be released on
[date to be confirmed]. His past albums have all been hits and it is
expected that “[album name to be confirmed]” should be another since his last big
media appearance in 2001 when he played one of the blunt
brothers alongside Redman in “How High”.
Method’s character shone
within the first five minutes of meeting him as he started to
crack some jokes about the name ‘Neil’ while casually smoking
his roll-up. Method was interviewed by several others on this
evening and provided each interviewee with a large portion of
humour and informative news regarding his upcoming album. |
During the
interviews, Method Man was licking his fingers, sucking his
teeth and enjoying the large take-away portions from Central
London’s Mr Jerk. “Daymn, this sh*t is good… Mmmm!” and “Hey yo!
Where’d you get this ill sh*t from man?” were just a few of the
repetitive mumbles that came from his mouth.
Promotion
City and Longers had an enjoyable evening in Method Man’s
company but unfortunately due to his busy schedule that night,
we were unable to get a recorded interview exclusive for
PromotionCity.co.uk.
But all is
not at a loss… Promotion City and Longers will be teaming up
once again very soon with an exclusive interview with Cassidy.
So keep your eyes peeled for that one.
So, until
the next exclusive, keep it bookmarked to
