This was the one all original Soul Deep ravers had been waiting for… This was the much-anticipated Soul Deep 2nd Birthday Party and the first Soul Deep in London of 2005 since their award wining NYE party. This was held at the home of Soul Deep Silks and Spice, Temple Court, situated in the midst of the City of London.
With lots of competition on the night in the form of other events being held the question being asked was… can Soul Deep maintain its high standard? A lot of harsh murmurs had been floating in and around the capital stating that Soul Deep were perhaps “falling off the ladder” after the not so successful trip to Bristol.
Well Promotion City can clear that all up for you, right here, right now! Soul Deep is far from its death bed. In fact those who may have thought it was… were just plain silly cos Soul Deep has been resurrected into something even more bigger and better.
The fact of the matter is that the stakes have been raised in this highly competitive game and Soul Deep has reacted positively by throwing what was another fantastic party
We caught up with some ravers and asked them what their opinion of the rave was…
“Wow, what can I say? Just look around you! It’s just too much… its just too much!!
“I have not been let down, this is what I call value for money… a £10 ticket gets me what? buff guys, nice vibes and brilliant music! Big up Soul Deep man!”
“Not only is there ‘nuff gyal’ in here… but what impresses me the most is the high standard and quality that they have made!”
This was very similar to the new years dance which was voted ‘Best New Years Eve Rave of 2004’ by promotioncity.co.uk subscribers. To those of you who missed that night I hoped you came to this one. If you did not and missed this then what you missed was a very large capacity crowd, in the region of 700-800 people. You missed sexy ladies strutting their stuff in a very friendly manner; you missed fine guys from all different corners of London and a very good standard music. This goes all the way from the warm up set to the final set from Dave B and bandit AKA Cover Up. Other DJ’s on the night were Elliot Ness who put down what most described as the best set of the night, with CK Flash, Fab Vibez, Lloyd Life, Nick Smood, 90%, Godfather and your hosts MC’s Joe Blimey and Daze all keeping the night a blaze.
“The Award Winning” Soul Deep is not just a rave and it must now be recognised as being a major brand out here, what you get is a standard that we hope they can maintain and continue to improve on.
