Sean Paul’s single release party was located at the heart of the West End, the very busy Leicester Square. As we drove to the club even the streets seemed electric! None of us had been to NYT before, so we had no expectations. Outside was packed with eager clubbers anxious for a good time. The security staff were lovely and we had a good giggle with them on entry.
As soon as we got up the stairs and opened the door, we were struck with a sense of excitement. The diverse crowd of mixed races, ethnicities and ages were out to really enjoy themselves. A sexy red curtain and NYT’s very own waitress staff, sectioned off the V.I.P area. With the cloakroom situated by a fire exit away from the dance floor; a good factor!
The air was filled with a very unique vibe; everyone was so friendly and so approachable. The dance floor was packed, and we’re talking jam-packed. The DJ booth, placed in the middle of the dance floor, was banging out classic party hits, every tune got the crowd hype, they loved it!
For those who needed to rest those dancing shoes there were enough comfortable sofas to sink into. The night was filed with bare love, everyone was bubbling with one another, strangers became friends and new relations were being made. Everyone was having a laugh with each other, it was wicked to see so many ravers on such a high. The DJ and mic man were heavy - with the host getting everyone excited by walking around and interacting with the crowd as the DJ played nuff melodies.
Drinks were in full flow and we spoke to so many people, including Reilly from West London who told us he was having a great time and the DJ was keeping him sweet! On the whole we couldn’t have agreed with him more!
